Parzival is one of the oldest Danish underground bands still existing. Original started as an industrial outfit under the name Stiff Miners, and have throughout their career released seven albums (nine if you include the Stiff Miners albums).
On their newly released album “Urheimat Neugeburt” Parzival have reintroduced electric guitars and acoustic drums, turning their sound into a more traditional rock sound, but still with majestic layers of their wellknown bombastic and dramatic soundscapes. The album is a reinterpretation of their 2010 album “Urheimat”. The original album is based on electronic and classic EBM style, whereas the new version of the album have introduced a new style for Parzival, which they label as “gnostic rock”.
Since their formation in 1996 on the ashes of the group Stiff Miners, Parzival have played numerous gigs and festivals, including performances with acts as Death In June, Derniere Volonte, Of The Wand & The Moon, Soror Dolorosa, Ostara, Saturnus, and festivals such as Wave Gotik Treffen and Entremuralhas.Vocalist Dimitrij Bablevskij explains about the new single "Lord Of The Sea":"Lord of the sea - like a river that carries away fragments, names and frontier into the silent ocean of the universe to the last page of the manual for hope of humanity! The song is our first in english ever and marks the new sound of the future Parzival era to come...."
