Reigning Phoenix ist ein neu gegründetes Label, hinter welchem Gerardo Martinez (früher bei Nuclear Blast USA und unter anderem zuständig für Slayer, Dimmu Borgit, Carcass und viele mehr) und Sven Bogner (einem Ingenieur und Metalhead der ersten Stunde) stecken.

Sven Bogner fasst die Philosophie von Reigning Phoenix folgendermaßen zusammen:

"Our most important goal is to help the artists amplify their art and talent to a winning formula for success. The moment I met Gerardo, I realized that we share the same spirit."

Als ersten Coup haben die Herren nun DEICIDE und damit US-Legende Glen Benton unter Vertrag genommen. Das 13. Album der Truppe wurde kürzlich fertig aufgenommen und wird auf den simplen Namen "Deicide" lauten. Eine genaues Veröffentlichungsdatum ist noch nicht bekannt. Es handelt sich dabei um den ersten Longplayer, der gemeinsam mit Gitarrist Taylor Nordberg aufgenommen wurde. Glen Benton kommentiert:

"With great pleasure and after several years of debate and consideration, I wish to announce the signing of a historic one album deal with the newly formed RPM for the development and marketing of the newest DEICIDE album, "Banished By Sin". We look forward to working with all the talented hand-picked individuals that create RPM music and adding our latest accompaniment to the DEICIDE catalogue."
