Nach acht Jahren Stille wird das australische Post-Black-Metal-Projekt WOODS OF DESOLATION rund um Mastermind D. (Ex-Grey-Waters, Forest Mysticism) ein neues Album auf die Welt loslassen. Die Scheibe "The Falling Tide" erscheint am 9. Dezember via Season Of Mist.

Bis es soweit ist, lässt die Band gerne in das Album reinhören. So gibt es nun die dritte Single, namentlich 'Illumination' zu hören. WOODS OF DESOLATION kommentieren:

"'Illumination' is a song with layered meaning. As this was the first song written for the new album, the lyrics may also simultaneously offer some 'illumination' to the concept behind the preceding WOODS OF DESOLATION album, "As The Stars.""
