Durch eine Rezension zu Entfremdet habe ich Nebelkrähe entdeckt und an dem Release und der Band an sich gefällt mir wirklich alles. Mich freut die berechtigte Wertschätzung für das eigene Schaffen die dazu geführt hat dass Entfremdet nach 15 Jahren mit mehr Erfahrung neu aufgenommen wurde. Garantiert nicht die letzte Nebelkrähe-Veröffentlichung die ich kaufe, aber jetzt höre ich das Album erstmal wieder und wieder und wieder!
Favorite track: Lichtbringer.

On June 26, 2009, NEBELKRÄHE introduced themselves to the black metal scene with their debut “entfremdet”. 15 years later, the Munich-based released a new version via Crawling Chaos Records.
“entfremdet (2024)” is not just a re-mix or re-master, but a completely reworked, new version: all eight pieces were revised compositionally, completely re-recorded and professionally produced for the first time.
The drums were recorded by Christoph Brandes (Iguana Studios; including Imperium Dekadenz, The Spirit, Thron), for the mix and master, NEBELKRÄHE worked once again with Victor Bullok (Woodshed Studio).
The re-make is rounded off by a new version of the cover artwork, which is closer to the original painting than the original version and expresses the emotions in the image and music even more strongly.

Hard to pick a favorite here. Why these guys don't get more attention is beyond me. Great doom w/ catchy riffs/melodies. "Sleepwalker (In Yesterday's Smoke) has all the doom elements you'd want in one song. There's not one song I skip. All killer, no filler.

German Melodic Doom / Death Metal. Started with their latestest & slowly but surely got hooked! This is along the lines of Swallow the Sun or Insomnium or Enshine but it is more too & they have their own brand of melancholic agression. Highly recommended!!!
