A New Horror Story in the FROM HELL Anthology

FROM HELL returns in 2020 with a new album called RATS & RAVENS. Staying true to the vision that each release is a concept album, Aleister Sinn (the live persona of George Anderson, creator/writer of FROM HELL), releases an album both dark and sinister.

Mid 13th Century…somewhere in eastern Europe
“A father disturbs an evil in the east. A witch comes to steal his son and the children of the village to make them her own. She sacrifices them and reanimates the dead with the blessings from the god of vermin. With rats, she brings them back to life and calls them Lilium.”

THEY COME AT NIGHT
Running through the forest as daylight starts to dim
Following close behind I hear them closing in
Demons of the forest. Spirits in the wind.
Whispering in the darkness. Whispering, “She comes again!”

And when the moonlight falls from the sky
The shadows come to life and breathe on their own
Make sure there’s lamb’s blood upon on the floor
The shades of night cannot cross the sign of the Lord

They come at night
They come in darkness beyond the light

As I reach the end of the trees, ahead a see a light
My solace from this hell is just in sight
Looming in the darkness. An evil from the east.
Lamb’s blood on my door (pleading) “Save me from the beast!”

And as the moonlight falls from the sky
The shadows whisper from outside, “She comes tonight!”
Stay inside, my son. Don’t open the door.
Whatever you do, don’t cross the blood on the floor.

They come at night
They come in darkness. Beyond the light.

And when the dawn comes and shadows are nowhere near.
I awake from my sleep and realize my greatest fear.
Where is my boy? Son are you there?
I see footprints in blood! My son has disappeared!
